Victoria Park

Access from Dyers Pass Road (connects to south end of Colombo Street)
Cashmere Hills, Canterbury
Victoria Park was first set aside as a reserve in 1870. It was popular before cars were common as it was served by a tram route as far as the Sign of the Takahe.

It has a Peter Jackson connection. The murder depicted in "Heavenly Creatures" took place on a side path here.

To get here by bus put Victoria Park as your destination in the Metroinfo Journey Planner.
